Modern Slavery Statement

Purpose

Sofemme Ltd is committed to conducting business ethically and with integrity. We have a zero-tolerance approach to modern slavery, forced labour, child labour and human trafficking within our business and throughout our supply chain.

Although Sofemme is not legally required to publish a Modern Slavery Statement under Section 54 of the Modern Slavery Act 2015, we have chosen to adopt this policy voluntarily to demonstrate our commitment to responsible sourcing and ethical business practices.

Our Commitments

1. Supply Chain Due Diligence

We work with carefully selected manufacturing partners and seek to understand our supply chain through appropriate supplier due diligence. We expect suppliers to comply with applicable employment legislation and uphold ethical labour standards.

2. Risk Assessment

We recognise that international manufacturing supply chains can present an increased risk of labour exploitation. We periodically review our suppliers and consider modern slavery risks when selecting and maintaining supplier relationships.

3. Supplier Standards

Sofemme expects suppliers to prohibit forced labour, bonded labour, child labour and human trafficking. Where concerns arise, they will be investigated and, where appropriate, Sofemme reserves the right to cease trading with the supplier.

4. Awareness

Responsibility for supplier management rests with the Director. We remain informed through Government guidance, NHS procurement requirements and recognised industry best practice to help identify and manage modern slavery risks.

5. Reporting Concerns

Any concerns relating to modern slavery, unethical labour practices or human trafficking involving Sofemme or its supply chain should be reported to the Director. All concerns will be reviewed and investigated appropriately.

6. Continuous Improvement

Sofemme is committed to continually reviewing its due diligence processes, supplier relationships and governance procedures to strengthen its approach to preventing modern slavery.

This policy will be reviewed annually and updated where necessary.
